Metro City as Education City

(Opinion)

What do you think about education in Metro city? Do you agree if metro city will be education city? Some of you may agree, plenty of you may disagree and a few of you are unconcern. Education is very important for everyone. Why? Because a country will develop if young generations are smart. And education will make a man be smart. I believe that there are some reasons why metro city has potential as education city.

The first reason why Metro city has potential be education city is that it has strategist place, and comfortable place. If we see of geographies position, Metro is not far from capital of Lampung. It’s about 50 km from capital and need around an hour if going up by motor vehicle. It also near from other regency such as; east Lampung, centre Lampung and Pesawaran. So, it is easy for people to come to the Metro city. Metro is city, but the situation is still quiet and not really noisy. Than, there is no traffic jam here. Beside that, the city is very clean. It is ever got Adipura noble. It is like village, but it is good for education because education need comfortable place to do school activity. As we know, Metro has school complex or campus complex that very comfortable. It’s located in 15A Iring Mulyo. Here, there are Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro, and STAIN Jurai Siwo. And then, SMP 2 Metro, SMP 4, MAN 2, SMA Ganesa, and other private school. Every day, this road is very crowded by students. This is really match make Metro as education city.

The second reasons why Metro city has potential be education city is that is it has many schools. School in Metro is more than 200 schools. It is divided of Private and public school. Starting from playgroup, kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, senior high school until university is available there. Beside that, there are many course places in metro city such as Texas course, Primagama course, Ganesa course, Rizas collage and etc. And than, there are many books store in Metro city. Than, there are many internet shops in Metro. You can find internet shop around campus complex easily.  Moreover, there is big library in centre city. It is region library. All of that are supporting realizing Metro as education city.

The third reasons are reading culture and program of local government. Reading is one of the ways to get much information. Reading is habit for ripsnorter. And I believe that people in metro city have a good reading culture as ripsnorter. I assume like that, because I see datum reader in region library. Every day more than 100 people come to the library. Yeah, Maybe it is not so good, because the resident of metro is 52.000 people. But, the datum of shopkeeper in the one of book stores in Metro gives good signification every month. It is indicator that people in Metro like reading. Moreover, the program from mayor of Metro is really support metro city as education city. The program is there is no TV switch on at 07.00 – 09.00 pm, because it is time for learning. Despite as we know, not all of parents in Metro apply this program for his children. But, I think the government is very care for education.

In short, I am very agreeing if metro is as city education. Education makes young generation clever and advance. Metro has good potential to be education city.  Geographies position is very strategist. Reading culture of resident is very good. And than school buildings, book store, internet shops are easy to find in Metro. I think all of that is very supporting toward Metro to be education city.

My holiday

Orientation

Last holiday my family and I visited gembiro luko zoo  in Yogyakarta. Gembiro luko is located not far from jalan malioboro , the most famous place in Yogyakarta.

A series of events

We went there by motor cycle, because my grandpa’s house not far from gimbiro luko. We left for gembiro luko at 8:30 a.m. and arrived at gembiro luko half minutes later.  My y brother and I were taking some photographs when my mother bought the entrance tickets for all us. The tickets were cheap enough.

There are many animal in the zoo. We were every excited that finally we walked to saw one by one of animals. For the first, we decided to saw kind of hippopotamus, crocodile, snake, and etc.

                (At about 9:30 we still walked around the zoo. We were chatting along the way. We talked our opinion about animals. And take some photos.                              

               

Re-orientation

                We spent at least three hours in the zoo. We left the place after having lunch together. We were tired, but we were very happy.

The effect of TV for teenager can be negative and positive. It depends how much they watch and how they are choose of TV programs. Because we know that TV is one of the communication media which many broadcasted event there. Start from commercial, entertainment, news, talk show, films, and the other programs. The most parents are afraid if their children influence by TV. A lot of TV programs give the negative effect for teenager. Such as: the first, make the teenager lazy to study. If they spend much time in front of TV, it’s give bad stimulus for brain because the function of brain will low to think. The second, make teenager change their life style. For example, they will do bad behavior like free sex. And the last is killing their creativity. The teenager will be consumptive. And lazy to create innovation. The ideas on their brain not develop. That’s all are negative effect of TV. TV not only gives negative effect but also give positive effect. If they can choose good programs they will give advantages. The positive effect such as: give much information in the world. For example if they watch news programs. The third, watch TV will amuse if we are bored. For example if we watch music concert or comedy. So, the effect caused by TV in general more negative than positive effect. The effect of TV is depending of audience. And than to prevent negative effect for teenager, the parents should be company or control their sons or daughter when watch TV.

There is no impossible in the world. If you feel that you can't clutched your desire, please don't give up.  We must believe that every event have benefit for us. If you fail now, don't think that you are stupid. Don't stop your effort, spirit, and you must do better than now. You must confident that you can clutched your desire next time. failure is the best motivation for us to awaken our spirit. If you never failure, you will  never feel the beautiful of immolation. So, exploiting all existing opportunity and showing at the world that you can be a winner.
